Wilmoth Field Warne is committed to recruiting lawyers with sound academic qualifications. However, we recognise that to be good lawyers, one needs more than just academic skills.
In particular, common sense, initiative, commercial acumen and skill, experience, communication skills, negotiation skills and motivation are all important ingredients in the selection of lawyers.
For this reason, we believe that our team is more balanced and more capable of meeting the needs of clients without being too 'legalistic'.
We place particular emphasis on understanding the business of our clients, the requirements of the client and time constraints, but not forgetting the costs constraints imposed in respect of each matter.
For example, all staff are encouraged to visit client premises to gain a better appreciation and understanding of the client.
