WFW is committed to recruiting lawyers with sound academic qualifications. However, we recognise that good lawyers rely on more than just academic achievement.

In particular, common sense, initiative, experience, commercial acumen, communication and negotiation skills, and motivation are all important ingredients in the selection of our lawyers.

For this reason, we believe that our team is more balanced and more capable of meeting the needs of clients without being too 'legalistic'.

We place a high priority on understanding the business of our clients, the requirements of the client and time constraints, whilst being sensitive to costs constraints imposed in respect of each matter. For example, all staff are encouraged to visit client premises to gain a better appreciation and understanding of the client.
